New Intake May

The Squadron will hold its second intake of 2010 on Monday 24th May. We currently have a list of those wanting to join. If you are wanting to join us, please email the Squadron 1096@aircadets.org or through the 'Contact Us' Section of the website and you will be invited to come and have a closer look and ask any questions.

Fault on Phone Line - fixed

Currently the squadron phone line has a fault which means that we are unable to receive any phone calls or pick up any messages left on the answering service. Until the fault has been repaired please the use the squadron e-mail or web site to contact us. e-mail: 1096@aircadets.orgUpdate 28.Apr.10 - The line appears to be fixed but any messages left do not appear to have been saved. Please phone or email us again.

Quiz Night

There will be a quiz night held to raise money for Sqn funds on February 6th, 7pm to for 7.30 at the Havers Community Hall (just down from the Sqn). Teams of up to 8 @ £8 per person which includes a light supper. Bring your own drinks! Please book your teams in advance...

Monday 21st December 2009 No Cadets tonight due to adverse weather conditions. Bag packing will still take place on Wednesday as scheduled, please arrive at 08:45 for morning slots. The planned raffle that was due to be drawn tonight will take place on Wednesday in connection with the bag packing event. Please ensure any outstanding tickets are returned to Waitrose by 13:00 so they can be included.

Sunday 8th November 2009
Remembrance Parade Meet at 10:00 to 10:15 in the Causeway Car Park by the crossing to Link Road Car Park. Parade will march off from the Link Road Car Park towards the war memorial. After the short service the march past will lead back to the Link Road Car Park and final dismissal will be by 11:30. Thereafter tea and coffee in the pavilion in the memorial gardens should you wish. Make sure you have breakfast, preferably something hot as there is a little standing around! If raining bring your Jeltex jacket.
